• Start with the business outcome. If it doesn't ladder back to a measurable outcome, it's documentation, not product work.
• Convert ambiguity into structured artifacts. PRDs, ERDs, sequence diagrams, decision logs — make the invisible visible.
• Design for governance before scale breaks trust. Compliance, audit, human oversight are first-class requirements. Retrofit is 10× more expensive.
• Measure AI, don't demo it. Golden test sets, eval pipelines, confidence thresholds. Production AI without evaluation is theatre.
