I build open standards, SDKs, and practical operating models for data products, AI-ready metadata, and agentic data workflows.
My work connects business value, governance, product thinking, and technical execution. I focus on one question:
How do we make data products clear enough for humans, platforms, and AI agents to use?
- Data products as business assets
- Open standards for data product interoperability
- AI-ready metadata and data product graphs
- Agentic workflows for data product management
- Data governance as code
- Open data platforms and public sector data value
- SDKs, schemas, YAML, validation, and automation
I work as Data Product Manager in the Data Factory Division at the Department of Government Enablement, Abu Dhabi.
My work sits at the center of government-wide data product development. It includes working with 90+ government entities and building data product capabilities on top of the Palantir platform.
The focus is practical:
- Turn government data into governed data products
- Improve reuse across entities
- Make data easier to find, understand, and trust
- Support AI-ready metadata and data workflows
- Connect business needs, platform capabilities, and delivery
This work aligns with Abu Dhabi’s wider AI-native government direction. The Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025-2027 aims to scale AI, sovereign cloud, automation, cybersecurity, and data-driven decision-making across government.
I also maintain and develop work around the Open Data Product Specification, ODPS, under LF AI & Data. ODPS helps teams describe data products in a standard, machine-readable way.
My current focus is turning data product strategy into executable workflows:
- Standards-first data product design
- AI-ready data product metadata
- Data product value graphs
- SDK-driven validation and automation
- Agent-ready data product operations
ODPS is an open standard for describing data products using YAML and JSON.
It helps teams define data product metadata, ownership, pricing, access, SLA, data quality, licensing, governance, and other core elements in a consistent way.

The SDK helps teams move from data product ideas to structured specifications and validation workflows.
It supports practical work such as:
- Creating standard data product YAML
- Validating data product definitions
- Building data product portfolios
- Working with data product graphs
- Preparing metadata for AI and agentic workflows
I create practical courses for people who want to manage data products as business assets.
Current course:
Scalable Data Product Value Management with Agent-Ready SDK
https://www.udemy.com/course/scalable-data-product-value-management-with-agent-ready-sdk/
The course covers ODPS, the SDK, validation, value graphs, and practical AI-ready workflows.
I write about data products, AI, governance, and value creation.
Books include:
- Deliver Value in the Data Economy
- AI-Powered Data Products
- Terraforming Data Product Governance
- API Economy 101
My writing is aimed at business leaders, product owners, data leaders, governance teams, and platform teams.
Data products need more than definitions.
They need:
- Clear ownership
- Business purpose
- Measurable value
- Reliable metadata
- Governance rules
- Quality expectations
- Access models
- Lifecycle management
- Machine-readable structure
AI raises the bar.
If AI agents are expected to find, compare, assess, and use data products, then metadata must become structured, trustworthy, and operational.
That is where open standards and SDKs matter.
